AFC Pro optimizes the sawing process
The intelligent assistance system automatically determines the optimum cutting parameters and is available as an option for all Behringer sawing machines.
Increasing demands for productivity and resource efficiency require smarter manufacturing processes. With Auto-Feed-Control AFC Pro, Behringer offers an assistance function that automates key aspects of the sawing process, reduces operator workload and makes valuable sawing expertise digitally available at the machine.
The operator selects the material from an extensive material database and enters the relevant job data. Based on the material grade, workpiece geometry and the saw band being used, AFC Pro automatically calculates the optimum cutting parameters. The system also checks whether the selected saw band is suitable for the application and adjusts the process parameters where necessary.
In addition to the standard operating mode, AFC Pro offers the ECO and POWER modes to meet different production requirements. ECO is designed to maximise resource efficiency and extend saw band life, while POWER uses performance-focused cutting parameters to increase throughput. Especially when cutting round stock and tubes, AFC Pro dynamically adapts the parameters throughout the cutting process to achieve optimum results.
With AFC Pro, Behringer provides an optional assistance system that supports operators like an integrated sawing expert. The technology makes extensive sawing know-how available directly at the machine, automatically determines the optimum cutting parameters and helps operators handle even demanding cutting applications safely and efficiently.
